To authenticate with the Active Directory server, Enrollment
Agent, Smartcard Logon, and Smartcard User certificate templates
must be available. Horizon 6 with View requires that the RSA public
key has a minimum of 1024 bits. So you need to duplicate the
existing template SmartCard User and change the RSA public key size
of the new certificate.
If you already have these templates, you can skip this step.
- Duplicate existing template SmartCard User: refer to
Creating Certificate Templates. Make sure that the RSA public
key size is 1024 at least.
- Log in to the Active Directory machine and open the
Certification Authority tool to new certificate to issue.
- In the left pane, expand the CA directory.
- Right-click Certificates and select
New > Certificate Template to
Issue .
- In the Enable Certificate Templates dialog box, select
Enrollment Agent, Smartcard Logon
, and the new certificate which is duplicated from
Smartcard User and click OK.
