Connected Publishing

In a Knowledge Society publications aren't static physical documents stored in a disconnected hard drive, but are multimedia, live documents that can be published, republished, shared and/or embedded on multiple websites, and private portals. And while they can be easily shared and repurposed, creators maintain full visibility, control, and ownership.

Rather than final outputs, publications facilitate and start conversations, enabling people and communities to engage and react. They enable direct feedback and co-development of ideas and processes, and as they evolve, keep all "subscribers" up to date.

In contrast to today's anonymous, passive audiences reading static content, in a Knowledge Society individuals, organizations, and communities are connected, engaged and active participants in evolving knowledge.
