Basecamp will not hold or promote any particular "Vision". A Vision implies a fixed understanding and outcome. Instead, Basecamp will have a "Horizon". We will never reach the Horizon. Every successful step taken toward it reveals a new horizon, and a new range of possibilities.

Basecamp's Horizon is to:

1. Create the missing space,
2. In which people form the missing understandings of self and society, and
3. Discover missing pathways to long-term flourishing.
