Basecamp's strategy for forming the missing understanding will be to:

• Support every attempt at every social experiment at Basecamp (whether in-person, virtual, or mixed) to publish an output - a Discovery Paper or Piece - that captures what was tried, why it was tried, and what was learned from the effort,
• Publish these Discoveries to Basecamp's public knowledge platform, and
• Support the authors in creating public interest and conversations around their Discoveries.

Whenever Discoveries generate thriving interest, they will benefit from improved Basecamp resources to help them further their reach.

To date, Basecamp has published more than a dozen Discovery Papers. Examples include:

• How can we tackle global challenges without global governance?
• How can we trigger a pandemic of health and well-being?
• How can we reclaim "intelligence" for humanity, amidst the race to make it artificial?
