Dr. Gary Gilliland, president of Seattle's Fred Hutchinson Cancer ReSearch Center, and, Dr. Malcolm Moore, president of Vancouver's B.C. Cancer Agency, shared their organizations' impressive work battling cancer. They also discussed the possibilities that could emerge through greater coordination, signing their own MOU to pursue clinical research collaborations between the two organizations that accelerate discoveries and enhance the research performance of both parties; expand patient access to innovative therapies; and provide better training opportunities for young scientists and researchers.
