Almost all blinds have a blackout option except Venetian blinds as too much light can seep in between the slats.

Roller blinds are the most common choice for a blackout blind but you can opt for a Roman blind or vertical blind. If you want a blackout blind it is best to opt for a made-to-measure option or you could pay extra for the blackout material and then be left with a small gap of light around the edges of the blind.

If you have Velux windows, their blackout blinds are excellent as they also completely cover the window.
