Employers can collect tips and distribute them to all employees who shared in earning them.

Employers cannot withhold tips or force employees to give their tips to them unless they're required to do so by law (e.g. a court order to garnish wages).

Employers can only take a share of tips if they regularly do the same or similar work as the employees who share tips.
