Speed without accuracy is called haste and hasty replies in customer support can backfire on you. While you do want to provide a quick response, if you don't have an accurate answer or solution yet, keep that response genearl in nature. An example: "Thanks for letting me know about that issue. I'm not sure why that's happening but I'm going to look into that for you right away." Then be sure you follow up within the same day -- even if you still don't have a solution. Let them know you haven't forgotten about them.
But when it comes to more meaty responses, you have to ensure that support replies that are being sent from your team are accurate and are actually helping customers.
