About CMF

CMF is a not-for-profit that provides funding for the Canadian television and digital media industries.

The 2014-2015 program funding budget is set at $368M.

Funding is offered through two streams:

1. Convergent Stream:

• Supports multi-platform Canadian projects that provides content on at least two distribution platforms, with one of those being television.
• The programs and incentives are designed to encourage production in all regions of Canada and in the variety of languages spoken by Canadians.

2. Experimental Stream:

• Encourages the development of innovative, interactive digital media content and software applications.
• Projects are to be developed for commercial potential by the Canadian media industry or public use by Canadians.

How to Apply?

CMF accepts applications exclusively through their online eTelefilm tool. Applicants can create, submit, and manage all their applications in one place.
