2019 Mutchmor Public School Book Sale: April 11-14

Key points:

Students are asked to bring in books. See mutchmorbooksale.com for what we accept.
Mutchmor families are encouraged to sign up for two volunteer shifts.
Classes (one primary, one junior) who collect the most books get to shop first and win a fun activity with GNAG in June.
On Children's Day students can bring $5 (maximum) to buy books.
On Children's Day there is a cake raffle - grade 6 students will come to classrooms to allow students to buy tickets (unlimited number).
New this year: the book sale is open during the PA day!

Funds go to library books, sports equipment, classroom supplies, lice checks, a new play structure for the junior yard, local schools in need, the Education Foundation of Ottawa and programs supporting indigenous groups

Teachers:

Please tell your students what to expect before they shop on Children's day:
- please only1itemfrom a series (e.g., only one Geronimo Stilton)
- Most books are $1 so they will probably get 3-5 books
- Students can buy as many tickets as you want for the cake raffle, but keep in mind that not everyone wins, nor do you get a choice of the cake you win.
Each teacher and ECE gets $25 worth of books for classroom use. Please shop for this anytime on Children's day (or after). We stamp the books with a Mutchmor stamp once you have chosen them.
Please encourage families to volunteer!

Tuesday, March 19 to Friday, March 22- Collection from 8:45 am to 9:00 am

Monday, March 25 to Thursday, March 28 - Collection from 8:45 am to 9:00 am AND 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Thursday, April 11: Children's Day, Cake Raffle, Opening night - 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm

*Friday, April 12: PA day. Open 10 am to 9:00 pm

Saturday, April 13: Open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sunday, April 14: Open 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
