Create Mechanisms For Reassessment

As partnerships are long-term commitments, create mechanisms for regular assessment of impact, relevance, and the suitability of partners.

Partnerships should have at least an annual review of the original contract to ensure that commitments are kept, the mission is still on track, and the purpose is still relevant.

Quarterly and annual reports are a good way to achieve this, but make sure that everything is still on track as you continue to grow and that you don't get stuck in a bad deal as priorities and politics shift over time.
