The City of Brantford recognizes that many decisions considered by council have climate impacts and has therefore adopted a climate lens tool that will detail the impacts of potential GHG emissions related to submitted reports to council.
This climate lens tool helped to inform the environmental impact of the decisions that the City makes.
In the webinar from 2020, Rochelle Rumney spoke to the climate action lens tool that will be used by City staff while preparing reports to council. Laura Almeida spoke to Brantford's Youth Strategy, and the opportunity that this presents to link youth and climate engagement efforts.
In the presentation from Dec 2023, Rebecca Szczepanowski provided an update of the tool and shared the transition from a pilot program to a full use of the tool.
