...you've probably seen an osprey.

Sometimes called the "fish hawk," the osprey is one of nature's greatest anglers. It hovers above the water before folding its wings and plunging feet-first into the lake.

It doesn't always catch a fish-but when it does, it has a neat trick.

Before flying away, the osprey turns the fish so its head points forward. That makes the fish more aerodynamic and easier to carry.

Next time you're at the lake...

If you see an osprey carrying a fish, look closely.
