Ontario has 14.7 million people making it the highest populated province in Canada. It is more than 415,000 square miles or approximately the size of Texas and Montana combined. Most of its population is located in the southern part of the province centered around its capital, the city of Toronto. The next largest populated city in Ontario is the country's capital of Ottawa which is east of Toronto.
