Join the Industry Advisory Committee
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST:
Suitable candidates for the IAC will be:
- currently working in one of the HPSC's sectors of focus in BC (i.e., renovation, HVAC, fenestration, insulation, energy advisors, and utilities/government)
- passionate about growing the home performance industry in BC
- able to commit to attending 60-90-minute quarterly meetings for the IAC
- able to commit to attending 60-90-minute quarterly meetings for their respective Sector Council (this includes current Sector Council members willing to continue their involvement OR new candidates willing to join a Sector Council)

Overview
As part of the HPSC's new governance structure, we are reorganizing the existing Steering Committee into the new Funding and Industry Advisory Committees, as shown on the HPSC Update page.
The Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) will be open to industry representatives from a range of backgrounds covering the retrofit sectors, provincial and municipal governments and utilities. Key features of the IAC are outlined below.
PURPOSE
- Discuss key sector priorities, explore common issues and links to whole home performance
- Cross-sectoral collaboration
VISIBILITY
- One board meeting a year dedicated to IAC presentation and discussion
- Inform HPSC priorities and Contractor Forum priorities
FREQUENCY
- Up to 4 60-90-minute meetings per year
COMPOSITION
- Key stakeholders (maximum of 2) from each Sector Council, representatives from HPSC's strategic/funding partners, and other utilities/government.
