Cause: Why this is happening?

Now that your home is more air-tight the moisture in the home remains inside longer. Because of this the relative humidity levels have increased in your home.

Solution: Humidity

• If the home has an HRV it may need to be rebalanced or changed to a more appropriately sized unit
• If the home does not have an HRV then they may want to consider one now
• Consult a ventilation specialist to determine the best course of action
• A dehumidifier could also be purchased, but advise the home owner that they often use more power
