There are several different types of Attic Baffles that are most commonly used:

• Expanded polystyrene
• Extruded polystyrene
• Cardboard

• Another common attic baffle material that is used is insulation batts, however, using insulation batts as attic baffles is not acceptable, because it does not prevent the flow of air or moisture into the insulation placed in the attic.
