Building Knowledge's Andy Oding is quoted in a recent Guelph Mercury Tribune article about the new Gatto Homes new townhouse development in Guelph, Ontario.
"It's a new way of building homes," said Gatto. "Everybody's going to have to go this way; let's do it now," he said of the reason for creating this type of development.
Gatto said his children have also inspired him. More energy efficient and environmentally friendly homes are the kinds of homes his kids want, he explained.
"By doing it in a townhouse development, it becomes more affordable and accessible for buyers", he said.
