We checked with the both the Mayor's Office (Frank G. Jackson is Cleveland's 56th Mayor and was once Cleveland's Assistant City Prosecutor, so he knows a thing or two about getting around, parking and safety) and the Visitor's Center (they recommend you don't ask "that guy outside the convenience store" for the inside scoop on Cleveland... I'm not sure why) to find out how to get to the conference and where you can park. Details are below.

Attention Motorists Bound for Downtown Cleveland: During the coming weekend, I-90 over the George V. Voinovich (formerly Innerbelt) Bridge will be closed to traffic. Motorists will instead be detoured via I-490 and I-77. While this detour adds only about a mile to the trip, motorists traveling from the west via I-90 and from the south via I-71 are encouraged to allow extra time to reach their downtown destinations this weekend! From the Southeast: Take Interstate 77 north to the East Ninth Street exit. Drive north on East Ninth Street to St. Clair Avenue and turn left (west). Drive three blocks west on St. Clair Avenue and turn right (north) on Ontario Street. Drive one block north on Ontario Street and turn right (east) on Lakeside Avenue. The entrance and pedestrian drop-off area for Cleveland Convention Center is on the right side of Lakeside Avenue.

From the South: Take Interstate 71 north to downtown Cleveland area. Interstate 71 north will merge with Interstate 90 east. Take the East Ninth Street exit. Drive north on East Ninth Street to St. Clair Avenue and turn left (west). Drive three blocks west on St. Clair Avenue and turn right (north) on Ontario Street. Drive one block north on Ontario Street and turn right (east) on Lakeside Avenue. The entrance and pedestrian drop-off area for Cleveland Convention Center is on the right side of Lakeside Avenue.

From Cleveland Hopkins International Airport: Take Interstate 71 north to the East Ninth Street exit. Drive north on East Ninth Street to St. Clair Avenue and turn left (west). Drive three blocks west on St. Clair Avenue and turn right (north) on Ontario Street. Drive one block north on Ontario Street and turn right (east) on Lakeside Avenue. From the East (Interstate 90 and/or Ohio Route 2): Take Interstate 90 west to downtown area and merge right onto Ohio Route 2 (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway) west. Take the East Ninth Street exit and turn left (south) on East Ninth Street. Drive south on East Ninth Street to Lakeside Avenue and turn right (west). Drive three blocks west. The Cleveland Convention Center is located just west of East Sixth Street, adjacent to Public Auditorium.

From the West: Take Interstate 90 east to the East Ninth Street exit. Drive north on East Ninth Street to St. Clair Avenue and turn left (west). Drive three blocks west on St. Clair Avenue and turn right (north) on Ontario Street. Drive one block north on Ontario Street and turn right (east) on Lakeside Avenue. The entrance and pedestrian drop-off area for Cleveland Convention Center is on the right side of Lakeside Avenue.

From the West on Ohio Route 2 (Cleveland Memorial Shoreway): Take the Lakeside Avenue/West Sixth Street exit. Continue straight (east) on Lakeside Avenue through the intersection. The Cleveland Convention Center is located two blocks east on Lakeside Avenue.

Downtown Cleveland Parking Options: Located in the heart of downtown Cleveland with thousands of parking spaces within a 10-minute walk, there are a variety of parking options near the Cleveland Convention Center and the Global Center for Health Innovation, including the Huntington Park Garage (entrances off Lakeside Avenue and West Third Street) and the Willard Park Garage (adjacent to City Hall, entrances off Lakeside Avenue and East Ninth Street).

Additional parking options include metered street parking throughout downtown, large surface parking lots just south and west of the facility off West Third Street and West Sixth Street in the Warehouse District, and multiple parking garages along St. Clair Avenue, including the Kia Parking Center, Marriott, IMG Building , and the Galleria.
