Here is the short list of changes you will notice first:
New homes for common tasks
- Create and publish guides in Studio (not the old create modal on the main site).
- Read and pick up where you left off in Reader (replacing much of the old /home experience).
- Manage your organization on your portal subdomain - for example acme.guides.co instead of guides.co/a/acme.
Clearer publishing
- Draft vs Published, Private vs Public, and AI-readable are separate choices on the Publish panel.
- You can move a guide between Personal and an organization portal after you create it.
Better on phones and in low light
- Updated layouts across Studio, Reader, and portals - including refreshed Studio buttons and forms.
- Light and dark mode - toggle from the Guides menu (top right).
Signing in on your portal
- Members sign in on your organization's URL with your logo and name when configured.
Custom domain (optional)
- Organizations can still use their own domain (for example guides.yourcompany.com) for the portal homepage.
Nothing here requires a developer. If you authored guides before, you still can - the editor is the same; the paths to reach it are clearer.
