Now, while you're working overtime to please everyone (though I told you not to), here is something I want you to know: there are decisions in your wedding that do not affect other people, and in these you definitely shouldn't bend over backward to please someone else. Wedding elements like your wedding dress. Short of wanting to show up nude (that's just not acceptable or pleasant), if you try on a dress that you love, get it. Unless your parents can't afford it because it's ten grand, your dress choice is up to you. Don't let other people's opinions affect your decision. Also, your colors. Put bright orange and hot pink together if it's your favorite combination. Pick daisies for your flowers, regardless of whether your mother is set on having roses. In the end, those decisions won't matter to anyone else but you. No one else will remember them.
