Now, some planning checklists give you a timeline as well, like
nine months, then eight months, etc. Since I know a lot of people
are engaged for a longer or shorter period of time, I've just
listed all the things you may need to do and grouped them, because
certain ones need to happen sooner than later, while others need to
be done right before the wedding takes place. There's some
timelines included just to give you an idea of when it's a good
idea to start working on different parts of your wedding, but don't
worry if you have a four-month engagement and you have to reserve a
venue only three months before your wedding. The timeline is just
giving you an idea of which aspects you need to tackle first.
Obviously, if you don't want certain wedding elements (like a ring
bearer), you're not required to include them.
