• Structural engineer engaged and drawings in progress
• Mobile welder consulted on steel elements at design stage
• Anchor bolt and embedded plate locations confirmed before slab pour
• CWB, WSIB, and insurance certificates collected from welder

During Construction

• Welder scheduled as a predecessor to framing - not after
• Stamped structural drawings on-site and provided to welder
• Site access confirmed for truck and equipment
• Third-party weld inspection arranged if required by permit
• Brick shelf angles installed before masonry begins
• Stair stringers installed before stair trades begin

Finishing Phase

• Exposed welds ground and cleaned per specification
• Guard and railing systems inspected for code compliance
• All welded connections documented for building inspection
