Planning is now underway to deliver a repeat of last September's Cascadia Innovation Conference, with Microsoft and (most likely) the Seattle Chamber of Commerce taking the lead on organizing it. The event will take place in Seattle on September 12-13, 2017 (date 99% set). This event will attempt to move beyond a commitment to principles of cross-border collaboration in innovation to discussing priorities for further action in the coming year in the areas identified as priorities; i.e. transportation, research, education (especially STEM), cross-border venture capital investment, tech, data science, health care, etc.
