VCDS (OBD)

VCDS is a software application that allows mechanics and technicians to diagnose and adjust various systems in Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen and Audi vehicles. It is developed and distributed by Ross-Tech LLC. The software connects to the car's diagnostic port (usually located under the dashboard) and allows the user to access the car's onboard computer system. This allows the user to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, perform various adjustments and customizations, and run various tests on the car's systems. VCDS is commonly used by independent mechanics, technicians, and car enthusiasts to diagnose and repair their own vehicles. The software is compatible with a wide range of Volkswagen and Audi models, including many older models that may not be able to be diagnosed with other tools.
