I've spent the last decade chasing massive athletic ambitions--stuff that makes a marathon look like a walk in the park. I've done it all on increasingly lower and lower training volumes. This guide provides a functional and practical approach to following in my footsteps. It is honest, unsympathetic, and best of all, free!
It is the first in a series and is designed to maximize your general fitness across many endurance disciplines (running, biking, swimming, paddling) as well as your ability to effectively handle your own body-weight.
But...I'll be blunt: the protocol the Guide describes won't be for everyone. It relies heavily on high intensity training (HIT) which is very difficult (and often painful). That being said, because HIT is so effective, you are able to manage it consistently your one hour a week can have you ready and able to tackle progressively bigger challenges--from long format triathlons to ultra-marathons to multi-day adventure races. The (athletic) world is your oyster, if you're willing to work for it...really work for it...even just One Hour a Week.
Happy reading.

This is a great guide for people looking to reach the upper limits of their physical potential, written in a very straightforward and accessible way. Will definitely be trying it out over the next few months.
